I'm a freelance artist and illustrator from the UK.

I graduated in 2012 from the University of Westminster with a First Class honours degree in illustration, and in 2016 from the Cambridge School of Art with a MA in Fine Art.

I work primarily in graphite, oil paint and a graphite/digital mix for my fine art; whereas my illustrations are primarily graphite and digital.

Statement :
The unknown has always interested me, whether it is something in the physical world or a limitation of the human mind. Using mainly traditional media and autobiographical themes, my practice explores notions of The Uncanny, human subconscious and our relationship to the world around us.

I take a lot of inspiration from the natural world, I am particularly interested with our different views towards nature and death, and the changes the world is currently going through.

I am a process artist who creates work through experimentation of media and techniques. In my work I hope to show a curiosity not just about the concept being depicted, but the process and journey that the work undertakes - to me the development and sketchbook work is of paramount importance to the route and formation of the final work. I enjoy the juxtaposition of combining tight and detailed images with spontaneous processes such as Mono Print or a digital colour, to create pieces that are both loose and restricted at the same time.
